Question: Can I use email?

Answer

• Yes, but only with Web-based email accounts like Hotmail or Yahoo! Mail.
• You can use an account you already have one, if it's Web-based, or open a new account.

Question: How do I open an email account?

Answer

1. Open Internet Explorer (or another Web browser, for example, FireFox).
2. In the St Clare's English Home Page, look at the Quick Links section, and choose an Email link, for example: Hotmail or Yahoo! Mail.
3. You will then need to:
   • fill in a form with personal details
   • invent a username and password
   • make a careful note of your username and password!

(If this is all difficult for you, ask your teacher or a classmate to help. There are often many people in the computer rooms who can help.)
